Silk Casper has been in and out of the radio biz since the early
80's...in between time he's sold cars, waitered, catered,
bartended, parked cars for rich people, done stand-up, was married (that
was REAL work, so he got out of that as quickly as possible), was a
doorman and bouncer, been a videographer, taught sales seminars in the
marine industry, done art design, been published, written a screenplay,
and has still found time for golf.
Silk's likes: Glimpses of Erin Andrews, Quentin Tarantino flicks,
whatever Michael Perry writes, Rescue Me, the timing of Ricky Gervais,
taking a steam, pragmatism, Glenn Beck, good beer, intelligent women,
Keevie's, Jim Gaffigan and Brian Regan.
Silk's dislikes: The new curly light bulbs, and all flourescent
lighting in general, open-mouth chewers, corporate weasels, full
ashtrays within his airspace, talentless poseurs, whiners, governmental
idiots infringing on my liberty.
Things that confuse Silk: How Howie Mandel and Ryan Seacrest keep
getting gigs.
