The Fond du Lac County Public Health Officer says she is not surprised that the supply of COVID-19 vaccine in Wisconsin is nearing the point of exceeding demand for the first time. Public Health Officer Kim Mueller says she has actually recently returned some vaccine to the state. Mueller says there is an increasing emphasis on reaching those who may have difficulty getting vaccinated or who have been hesistant to receive the shot. More than 50 percent of the eligible population has received at least one dose and more than 30 percent of the total population is fully vaccinated.
