The Fond du Lac County Health Department has a thousand doses of COVID-19 vaccine ready to administer to residents age 65 and older starting this week. “This is so exciting,” Public Health Officer Kim Mueller told WFDL news. “This is what we’ve been waiting for.” Mueller says the first in a series of vaccine clinics will be held Wednesday at the Fairgrounds Expo Building. “To me, to all of my staff, this is it, and we are pumped, we’re excited!” Mueller says once you get inside the Expo Building the entire process will take about a half hour. Mueller says the clinic quickly filled up, and others who called to register but didn’t make this week’s list have been put on a waiting list.
