Today’s fast-paced and ever-changing manufacturing environment offers excellent career opportunities for women. Further, manufacturing can benefit from women’s involvement. Helene Nimmer, Vice President of Sales and
Marketing at Mid-States Aluminum, will discuss the current state of manufacturing and advocate the critical need for more women to join the ranks.   As the Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Mid-States Aluminum Corp.,  Nimmer drives new business and supports the current customer base. Working in  manufacturing for over 20 years in operations and sales roles, Nimmer has lived abroad and traveled to 15 countries selling industrial equipment and listening to
customer needs. She is a trained Sigma Black Belt, applying data-driven  techniques to improve processes.  She earned bachelor’s degrees in economics and German from University of  St. Thomas, a Master of Arts in German Literature and Linguistics from University of Wisconsin Madison, and a Master of Business Administration from University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. She currently serves on the board of directors of Mid-States Aluminum and is a former board member of University of Wisconsin Oshkosh College of Business Alumni Advisory Board.   The Professional Women’s Connection – Fond du Lac Chapter will meet virtually
