A Malone man was seriously injured in an ATV crash in Fond du Lac County. It happened shortly before 5pm Sunday at the intersection of Highway 151 and County Highway HHH. Through investigation it was determined that the operator and lone occupant, a 39 year old Malone area man, was northbound on US 151. As he approached CTH HHH he lost control of the ATV resulting in him getting thrown from the machine. The operator was flown by ThedaStar helicopter to ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Neenah with life-threatening injuries. He was not wearing a helmet. The crash remains under investigation by the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office. Alcohol appears to be a factor in the crash.
