Do you know the signs that your teenage child is using drugs or alcohol? Drug Free Communities of Fond du Lac County is hosting Hidden in Plain Sight: What Every Adult Should Know at Horace Mann High School in North Fond du Lac. The free event for adults only starts at 5:30pm Monday. Mental Health Navigator with the North Fond du Lac School District Carrie Nitz says the goal is to educate adults about behavior changes and signs to look for and what you can do. Nitz says it all starts with the relationship you have with your children. The event also includes a life size exhibit of a teen’s bedroom with more than 20 red flags that can signal drug or alcohol use and identifies spots where teens may hide drugs or try to cover up drug and alcohol use.
