An Oshkosh man was flown by helicopter to a Milwaukee hospital following a shooting incident in Fond du Lac. Shortly after 6pm Sunday police and rescue personnel were called to a residence in the 500 block of East Division Street for a report that a man had been shot. A 49-year-old Oshkosh man was transported by ambulance to St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac with a gunshot wound to the torso and then flighted by helicopter to Froedert Hospital in Milwaukee. A 70-year-old Fond du Lac man was arrested in connection with the shooting incident and is being held in the Fond du Lac County Jail. Police say no other suspects are being sought in connection to this incident. Police say the investigation remains active and additional information will be released when the criminal complaint is filed.
