Fond du Lac police are investigating an incident that left an elderly Fond du Lac woman in critical condition. About 6pm last Saturday police were called to the area of Division Street and Lincoln Avenue for a report of a female subject found lying on the roadway bleeding from the head. A 76 year old Fond du Lac woman was flown by helicopter to ThedaCare Medical Center in critical condition. Assistant Police Chief Steve Klein tells WFDL news investigators are trying to determine what caused the injury to the victim. Klein says a preliminary investigation found no obvious signs of foul play. The investigation is continuing.
