One person is dead following a two vehicle head on collision in Dodge County. The crash happened shortly before 9:30am on state Highway 33 near Hidden Valley Drive in the town of Beaver Dam, about two and a half miles east of the city of Beaver Dam. A driver in one of the vehicles was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the other vehicle was transported with non-life threatening injuries to an area hospital. State Highway (STH) 33 was closed between County Highway A and Thompson Rd. and is expected to remain closed until at least 12 pm today. The crash remains under investigation by the Township of Beaver Dam Police Department, with the assistance of the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office and Wisconsin State Patrol. Also assisting with the incident were the Beaver Dam Fire and EMS, UW Med Flight, and DCERT, as well as the Dodge County Highway Department for road closure. The crash remains under investigation.
