11-16-19 gathering source food pantry

For more than 40 years, The Blew Inn supper club in Dodge County was a destination for those in search of good food and spirits. While it ceased operations in August 2018,  this once iconic supper club will once again be used to feed the masses.  The Gathering Source food pantry has announced it has purchased the former supper club located on  Highway 60 to expand  the operation of its Food Pantry and Resource Center.   The original dining room area will be utilized for food pantry services, while the remainder of the building will be converted to space for improved access to resources and services in Dodge County. There are also plans to host exercise and educational classes in the large multi-purpose room.  The Gathering Source has served the Dodgeland School district and the communities of Clyman, Reeseville, Lowell, and Juneau, and recently expanded its service area to include the Hustisford School District.   “The Gathering Source is very excited for the opportunity to expand its services and programs for the betterment of our  rural communities,”   Executive Director, Laurel Lunde, said.
