A Fond du lac man who was the subject of a manhunt Thursday is in custody. The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office says shortly before 9pm Thursday information was received and 35 year old Richard Erdman was arrested. Erdman was wanted on several outstanding warrants. Shortly before 8:30am Thursday the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office attempted to make contact with Erdman at Royal Oaks Motel on State Highway 33 to take him into custody for multiple Felony warrants. Erdman fled into an adjacent marsh. Law enforcement searched the area but were unable to locate Erdman and eventually called off the search.
