The victims of a single-vehicle crash in Washington County earlier this week were from Dodge County. 66-year-old James Allan Debny and 55-year-old Daniel Joseph Leudke, both of Fox Lake, were in a vehicle that was traveling north on I-41 in the Town of Polk on Tuesday night when that vehicle crossed the median and both lanes of traffic before slamming into a guard rail. One of the men was pronounced dead at the scene, while another was flown to a nearby hospital where he later died. Debny and Leudke are the seventh and eighth traffic fatalities in Washington County in 2019.
