6-26-19 fdl school district meal prices

There will be no change in school meal prices in the Fond du lac School District next school year.  The Fond du Lac School Board has voted to keep school breakfast and lunch prices the same for the 2019-2020 school year.  Superintendent Dr. Jim Sebert says the school district continues to maintain a positive fund balance in the district’s Food Service fund.  “We’ve been in a pattern for a couple of years where we’ve been able to maintain meal prices where they’re at,”  Sebert told WFDL news.  Meanwhile, the school board has renewed the district’s contract with food service provider Aramark for the upcoming school year.  “Aramark does a really nice job of really nice job of continually trying to diversify their lunch menu and have new lunch opportunities.  We have fresh fruit and vegetable bars.  We have a number of schools that have breakfasts in the classroom.”
