6-25-19 fdl school board approves initial borrowing for building referendum projects

The Fond du Lac School board has approved the borrowing of an initial amount for a major building referendum in the Fond du Lac School district.   The school board Monday night approved the authorization to issue a $25 million short term bond anticipation note.  Superintendent Dr. Jim Sebert says this is the first of what will be three borrowing opportunities to pay for the referendum.  In April. voters approved a $91.5 million referendum question to maintain and upgrade every school building in the  district and a second question to spend $7 million to make sure every school building in the district is air conditioned.
