The Ripon School Board has approved creating a play-based charter school. The board last week voted to accept an $800,000 five year grant to create the charter school at Barlow Park Elementary School starting in the fall of 2020. The Ripon School District was one of 11 districts across the state awarded grants by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.
