A Fond du Lac man has died from injuries suffered in a motorcycle crash last weekend. The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office says 47 year old, Richard Detert, was pronounced dead at ThedaCare Medical Center in Neenah. Detert was critically injured when his motorcycle struck a truck that turned in front of his motorcycle on Lakeshore Drive near Cemetery Road Sunday afternoon. A female motorcycle passenger, 37 year old, Karen Detert of Fond du Lac, received serious injuries . Neither was wearing a helmet. The truck driver, 58 year old Stuart Muche of Fond du Lac, was not injured.
