Now four Red Cross shelters open in Wisconsin :
* Fond du Lac – Community Church, N6717 Streblow Dr.
* Fond du Lac – Harbor Haven, 459 E. 1st St.
* Prairie du Sac – Sauk Prairie H.S., 105 Ninth St.
* Arcadia – Holy Family Catholic Church, 223 Maple St.
Shelters have food, comfort, access to immediate and health needs, and a place to rest/sleep. I’ll have shelter counts by Friday, but our volunteers are working with well over 150 people in need at this point. Also, two reception centers – in Lodi and De Forest – look like they’ll be wound down in the next hour or so. People in need of assistance in that area are encouraged to go to nearby Sauk Prairie H.S. We’ll keep working with emergency officials on these and any potential new needs as the weather situation develops. Of course, we’re asking people to keep an eye on travel/weather advisories. Updates as I get them; stay safe out there.
