The Johnson School Bus company is being sold. After nearly 80 years of family ownership the company is being sold to Canada-based Landmark Student Transportation. The sale is expected to be completed by the end of the month. Johnson Bus has 11 terminal locations, including Fond du Lac and Beaver Dam and serve 14 school districts including the Fond du Lac School District. In a letter addressed to their school districts and customers the Johnson family thanked the communities for their support. The company says Landmark was chosen as a family-based, experienced organization that will continue Johnson’s culture, identity and strong reputation. Johnson Bus has 500 part time and 50 full time employees.
