The Wisconsin State Patrol is continuing its investigation into a crash this week involving a Fond du lac County sheriff’s deputy vehicle in the city of Fond du Lac. The crash happened February 5 at the intersection of National and Merrill Avenue. According to the state patrol a mini van operated by Jarrett Anderson of Fond du Lac failed to stop for a stop sign and was struck by an SUV operated by sheriff’s deputy Blaine Evans. Evans and Anderson were transported to the hospital for minor injuries. A third vehicle that was struck by the mini van following the initial collision left the scene. Investigators are trying to identify the driver of that vehicle.
