Fond du lac Public Works says a portion of South Hickory Street is closed this week. South Hickory between Ruggles Street and Emma Street will be closed completely starting Monday at 7:00 AM and remain closed for the week. The closure will allow the water department to repair two water leaks. A signed detour will be marked and motorists are encouraged to travel Western Avenue, Seymour Street, and Forest Avenue, as a detour around this block.
