2-21-18 nfdl village board president race and higher than expected voter turnout in the county

Two incumbent board supervisors will advance to the April election in the race for North Fond du Lac Village Board president.  Keith King and Mike Streetar were the top vote getters in Tuesday’s primary election.  Streetar received 188 votes and King received 101 votes.  Challenger Martin Schreiber got 56 votes.  Village board president Jim Moore is not running for re-election.  Meanwhile County Clerk Lisa Freiberg says voter turnout was higher than expected.  Freiberg says  7,912 county residents voted.  That’s a 15 percent turnout.
