8-22-17 bobcat hunt

For the fourth straight year there will be a statewide bobcat hunting season in Wisconsin.   DNR scientist, Nathan Roberts, says the harvest quota has been set at 750 for the 2017-18 season.  Roberts says that includes quota increases in both the northern and southern zones.  Roberts says the state’s bobcat population is healthy and robust enough to provide  additional harvest opportunities.  The bobcat hunting and trapping seasons begin October 15th.
