The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate a fatal rollover crash on Highway 151 that claimed the life of a Columbus man. Dodge County Sheriff Dale Schmidt says the crash happened shortly before midnight last Friday when a pickup turned onto Highway 151 from County Road DE and was rear ended by a semi-trailer. Schmidt says investigators want to know why the pickup did not increase its speed upon entering the highway and why the semi driver didn’t move over to the passing lane.
