The Dodge County Law Enforcement Explorer Post recently brought home eight awards at a state competition. Sheriff Dale Schmidt says the local Explorer Post was competing against more than 40 teams in a variety of law enforcement categories. Schmidt says the explorer post is comprised of young people age 14 to 21 who have an interest in pursuing a law enforcement career. Explorers Easton Meier and Scott Anderson were named Co-Explorer of the Year and received a $200 scholarship. Explorer Coby Schultz was awarded the Explorer Post Rookie of the Year.
